Judy Arline Puckett Reflections of Judy
I am a graphic artist.poet and lyrist,
Currently I am working with a very talented musician John Wastnidge,
One beautiful song created from my lyrics,
is A Taste of Rain.
We have plans for others.
The newest will be Thousands of Tears,'Tears'
John Wastnidge is also a very talented writer,
and has a John Lennon quality and sound. Also I have been pleasantly surprized by a young talented man named Karthik Murali, who made a music video from my lyrics Hero , and turned it into a beautiful song. A new talented song writer and artist I'm also working with is LaMar Alexander, a song with my lyrics ,Love passed By. He changed the lyrics by adding a chorus he wrote, which normally I don't agree to, but the song came out very good. I have also worked with Chuck Zak on a few songs ,His band name is The Oxford Boys. .

Give me your time
One glass f wine,
One rose ,
A song on the radio,
Someone to hold me close,
I sometime dance alone
With my eyes closed,
I find,
A woman can have a good time,
With
One glass of wine
One rose.
A song on the radio,
Someone to hold her close.
If you want someone to love,
It’s not the moon and the stars above,
That they want,
It’s just your time.
One glass of wine.
One rose.
A song on the radio,
Someone to hold them close.
We don’t ask for much,
Just a gentle touch,
Every woman needs to find,
A man that takes the time
For
One glass of wine.
One rose
A song on the radio,
And to be the man
That holds her close.
I don’t need diamonds that shine.
Im not looking for a gold mine,
Just need someone with the time
For
One glass of wine,
One rose ,
A song on the radio,
Someone to hold me close,
Give me your time
So many men are so blind,
A woman just needs
Some of their time.

Inside she cries
She has a sad look in her eyes,
Inside she cries,
She may smile for a little while,
And sometime she hides,
The tears .
But inside she cries.
She doesn’t know,
What made the change,
It was like the day,
Went from sunshine to rain,
How can love grow cold,
That once had a flame,
She may smile for a little while,
But slowly love dies,
And Inside she cries
She can’t explain,
Her silent pain.
He doesn’t seem to realize,
Inside she cries

Don't hear good news any more
She comes out of college
With no job and debt .
He can’t pay the mortgage or the rent,
He never before knew what poor meant.<?xml:namespace prefix = o />
They want that old grandmother to say
She is ready to die,
I write with a tear in my eye,
God didn't mean for us
to take our own life away,
They tell that young couple,
Don’t have a child, after they so long waited,
The world will soon be over populated,
That homeless man walks his last mile.
A hungry child tries to smile.
They say our planet is growing way too warm
They warn us of the perfect storm.
War takes away the sons and the daughters,
Hatred spills blood into international waters,
What has yesterday taught us?
They say in 2012,
We might be doomed.
And that the sun is falling from the sky,
The earth is off it’s axle,
And we plan to crash on the moon.
I can’t tell you why.
People believe in Dawin.
And People’s souls are starving,
Under the stars
People are fighting and dying in wars,
They want a old homeless man to say,
He doesn’t want to live another day.
Be ready for the ax,
If you can’t pay your tax,
When there is nothing left to give,
They want to throw you away,
When there are no more dues to pay.
Don’t often hear good news any more,
Just hear the wolf howling at the door,
A family man can’t feed his kids anymore,
A working man,
Is working poor,
Don’t often hear any good news any more.
Suicide is what they want you to ask for,
Once you grow old.
What are you living for?
Fighting a new war,
Seems to be the question of tomorrow,
Our children walk though blood and sorrow.
It seems like we were doomed from birth,
We crash on the moon,
And destroy the earth,
And plan to go to planets beyond the stars,
What do we take to the planet Mars?,
Do we take Hatred’s wars?
We can’t seem to find peace.
We have contaminated the air,
And the seas,
We have created hatred’s disease.
Star dust falls in our eyes,
In God we trust dies,
We say we search for the truth,
We want to see the proof,
We want the answers to the questions we seek,
The strong no longer helps the weak,
We lost our faith,
And can’t believe
we contaminate the air we breath
The whale washes up dead on the shore,
Don’t hear good news any more.

| I lost her somewhere
<?xml:namespace prefix = o /> I want that girl back
She wasn’t afraid to take a chance
I want that girl back,
When it rained she would dance,
I want that girl back.
I lost her along the way,
I wish I could go back,
To yesterday,
And find her there.
I lost her somewhere.
And I want that girl back.
I never thought Id lose
That happy smile,
As she took off her shoes,
Like a child,
And danced so wild,
She never told me how tired she was,
She never complained .
As she walked that long mile,
Never giving up on romance.
If it rained she would dance,
She wasn’t afraid to take a chance.
She is everything that I lack.
I want that girl back
I don’t know the moment of time,
When she changed
I must have been blind,
Or maybe she was on stage,
And it was the finale act.
I wish I could turn the page,
And go back there.
I lost her somewhere,
The wind blowing in her hair,
Dancing in the sand
Her feet bare,
A brass ring fell off her hand,
And she left it there,
Like a dove with broken wings,
Flying to dreams on a prayer
I lost love,
And I lost her somewhere.

I anit ever gonnna change-Just a old flower child
Just a old flower child
Still love the flowers wild
Still dance in the rain
I anit ever gonna change.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o /> I love my music live,
I don’t need Jane to feel high,
I still believe in love and peace,
And in things that only the heart sees,
And I’ll dance when it rains,
I anit ever gonna change,
I anit ever gonna change
I love the moon for lovers,
I wish peace for others,
And the diamonds that catch my eye,
Are the stars shining in the sky,
Ive been near fire ,that can't be tamed,
Ive known my share of smiles,
and my share of pain.
I still love the flowers wild,
I'm just an old flowerchild.
I believe in things only the heart sees,
and I believe in
love and peace.
I believe in dancing in the rain.
I anit ever gonna change
I anit ever gonna change

Mr.Right
It seems so easy
To find
Mr.Wrong,
<?xml:namespace prefix = o />
It’s hard to be alone,
Every night
While waiting for Mr.Right.
Sometime I wonder,
Will he ever come along,
I can’t figure out,
Maybe I missed seeing him,
When he was in plain sight,
It’s hard to be alone,
While waiting for Mr,Right.
They say that for every heart,
There is a soul mate,
But in the lonely dark,
It’s so hard to wait,
Sometime at night,
My heart starts to ache,
These lonely dark nights
Are so hard to take.
I can’t always fight,
The lonely night,
While I wait ,
For Mr,Right,
If you judge me,
Please don’t judge me hard,
Close your eyes,
And think of being lonely in the dark,
With no one to hold you tight,
Sometime I find,
Mr Wrong seems all Right,
Sometime like tonight,
Mr Wrong seems like
Mr Right
He's not my dreams,
No wedding rings,
no long gown of white,
Somehow right now,
Mr Wrong seems so right.
