I've rapping and performing for 16 years. Some people would say I'm hella cool, others would say funny and crazy. I want to (someday) become a international rap star. I talk about different topics in my music from the streets, to the parties, political issues, and about life in general. Hopefully this internet world will help me get into the right hands. I'm looking for any record labels, managers, or booking agents. I've made a song and video for THE UNITED STATES CENSUS 2000 CAMPAGIN. It was used nationally to teach the people of THE UNITED STATES the importants of the census. People have used my service for rapping telegrams, commercials, and community outreach. With my community outreach songs I taugt people about, AIDS Awarness, Bullying, Teasing, Obesity,Reading Literacy, Diabetes Type 2, Exercising, and Self-Esteem. I am a community spokes person, disc jockey, graphic designer, rapper, poducer, videographer, photographer, and a all around guy. | What's up Trell Mix hollering at you. I know most singer or rappers wonder "What do record labels look for in a Artist". Here are some ideas that I (as a independent company owner) think the look for in a good artist. 1. Image. Thirst is nothing image is everything. If you got the right image you can sell a product for them (soda commercial, clothes, magazines, etc.) 2. Good music and work ethics. They don't like dealing wit someone that thinks he could rap or sing. You got have good work ethic. Listen to your engineers, knock out your parts real quick but with good quality. 3. A listener. Take heed of some of the people in a higher position tell you. It's for your benefit. 4. Determination. They like someone who has drive and will. Be envolved in all aspects of your career (studio, production, business). 5. Diversity sellable product. You wouldn't want to make a song you can't get airplay with. You'll never get played and you'll never get paid. Write music that can cater to different markets. 6. A humble person. Don't rush things, Good things come to those who wait. Most people think its about overnight success, no it's about sticking to your guns and being true. Treat everybody right on your way up, it will help you in the long run. Some of those people will be future friends, fans, and business partners. Be humble on your way to the top, because when your on the bottom feeling down and out, none of those people will be around. 7. History or a story. You,Willy, Tyrone, and Junebugg up the street knows how to rap. What makes you a better rapper than Willy. Willy just raps on the street corner, but you on the other hand opened a concert for Nelly, or Ludacris. You were working on a record and tragedy struck and one of your members was killed. You went into depression and quit rapping. Then all of a sudden a busrt of energy goes through your body and you write a album that sells 150,000 indepent. Know thats a story. 8. A good track record. How many albums you put out. How many different radio stations your on. How are is your buzz at the clubs. 9. Fan base. What ever you do make alot of fans. It takes the fans to sell your record. I don't be afraid to make new friend. You don't know how might like your music. It could be the kid with the red punkrock hairdo, or the policeman who just arrested you last week. 10. For you to be yourself. If you bake cookies I wouldn't want you to be my plumber. You might cant get the job done right with a spatula. Don't act like someone your not. You got sixteen guns, five pitbulls, and three fine chicks on a song. In real life you have $2.75 for a bus pass and a Mc Donalds double cheesburger from the dollar menu. Just do you don't be anyone else. With that in mind I hope that give you a lil insight on what a record might be looking for in a artist.
Until I get signed I'm gonna keep on trying, hope you do the same.

| | What's good this is Trell Mix back at ya! What ever you do in life never give up on your dream. Dream, dream big, dream bigger than big, it's reachable. I remeber the many times through out my career I wanted to call it quits. Something pulls me back to it. I guess its GOD's way of letting me know this is the gift he gave me. I haven't got a grammy or a big mansion, but never giving up gave me the opportunity to meet some many people from different backgrounds and nationallities. We all had something in common, a dream.Obsticles were threw in my life that made me just want to give in. Become an average person with a 9 to 5. I didn't want to do that, I wanted to keep on rapping. The more I did it the fun it got. The more fun it got the more I wanted to do it. I wanted to challenge myself and take my life to the next level. If I would of gave up, you probably wouldn't be reading this blog. I would have let down so many people and probably lost respect for myself. My name wouldn't mean s**t. Look for something in life and chase after it. God might not come when you call him but he's always on time. Never give up.

| | Hey what's good in the world. Man, I've been trippin off people lately. Some people want to make a change in life, some people want to do the same things and stay the same way. I'm from Stockton, Ca. an its been hard trying to make it as a artist. People don't like coming together to make something happen. People are just out for them selves. I leave in a region were people don't look at the big picture. If your are a rapper or musician you can't just make music to focus on yourself. There is a whole world full of different people out there. Black, White, Brown, Asian, Indian, European. They all have one thing in common, that's music. People want to trip because your from another side of town, or another city, but we all listen to music so that shouldn't matter. I had a incident last night where Stockton rappers were mad because Bay Area rappers rapped at a event. The Bay Area rappers are trying to get seen just like the Stockton rappers and are helping out the Stockton rappers, but people don't see it that way. They were just looking out for themselves. For us to make a positive change n the way that hip-hop is going we must first take a look at ourselves, see were we are trying to go, and get with the people who have our best interest in hand. We've got to come together some how some way, and everybody can be happy and live in prosperity. This was just a little something I wanted to inform people about. Shake off the bad people and keep on going.
MUCH LOVE
