Hello. My name is Roy Harris and I am a songwriter from New Boston, Texas. I would like to thank everyone for my warm welcome to JamWave. A lot of you I already know from Soundclick and posting on the songwriting forums, The lady you see in my photo is my buddy, Marie Osmond. lol. In addition to being a talented performer, Marie is also a doll designer. I work at a retail store called Lanes Gifts and Collectibles in Texarkana, Arkansas. Marie has been to our store for the past ten years doing doll signings, where she autographs her dolls, and I don't pass up an opportunity to get my picture taken with Marie. She is one nice lady.
I write traditional country and Christian Country songs. That's my kind of music. All of my songs are available for recording, so if you are the next Johnny Cash or Loretta Lynn and want to record one of my songs, holler at me. I am sure we can work something out. Just so anybody doesn't get the wrong impression, that is not me singing on ANY of my songs. I probably could sing them but you wouldn't want to hear it. lol. I always put the name of the artist who is singing after the title of the song, who will be my-cowriter on the song, unless it is a professional demo.
