ROLLER was the band masterminded by brothers Chris and Mark Short,along with long time friends J.B. Nicholson(R.I.P.) and guitarist Danny Bridges along with drummer Scott Christenbury,jammed all over the local scene in 1983,hitting all the local bars and venues,and anywhere they could set their equipment up and play.This is a set of live recordings of one night in the parking lot of Peggy's Resteraunt August 21,1983.As it is with a lot of local bands,ROLLER disbanded in the early 90's and everyone went their own way,Chris Short went on to form the power house band,MACHINE,with best buddy,Gary Ramsey,and is currently playing guitar for another awesome Kings Mountain band,PEACEPIPE(Chris and Gary still collaberate on music and other projects to this day).Mark still jams out with his band,LICKITY SPLIT.Danny Bridges and Scott Christenbury have moved on with their lives and are doing well.Unfortunately,guitarist and friend,J.B.
