Formed in December of 2004, Bloodcurse and Mephisto joined forces to bring true black metal to Northeast PA. The band formed after Bloodcurse left the band Dark Symphony due to his hatred of their guitarist. They were joined by Krow (drums) and Morbid (bass). The first demo, "Follow the Gods" was recorded in late December '04, but never was released. In February of '05, Krow left to persue other musical projects. He was replaced by Massacre, whom Bloodcurse met the year before at a Slayer concert.
In October of 2005, Morbid left the band due to personal problems at the time. He wasn't replaced until March of 2006, by Balrog. The band recorded another demo in March of the same year, titled "Hymns ov Golgotha". Neldoreth played their first live show on April 20th, 2006. In June 2006, they released their 3rd demo, "Invert the Crucifix". Also in June, Morbid was brought back to the fold. The band is currently playing shows in support of the demo, and working on new material. |
