Lab Ratz is a collaborative of writers and musicians whose goal is to get back to the roots of Rock-n-Roll. Headed up by BMI affiliated writers David Downing, Butch Whitten and David Wyatt, the group composes and performs songs that embody the "say anything, play anything" attitude of the pioneers of the genre.
As stated by Carlean Moser of Bless Your Heart Music Publishing, their songs are "filled with heart and solid melody" and reflect their belief "Live, Learn and Change".
