I'm Dayve (sometimes spelled "Davy") Shannon.. I play guitar, bass and sing for the group 4Ever Erin.. I was raised in Virginia (Spotsylvania County) and now live in Maryland near the Delaware line.

  I started playing guitar when I was about 12 or 13 and continued.. The first band I was in was a high school band called "The Royals".. later I played with a Maryland group called "Genesis" (not the English group) and our lead singer and my roomate was Rick Roberts who later went on to find success with Firefall..

  I played with a number of groups in the DC area doing a range of genre.. rock, country, blues, bluegrass and Celtic/Irish.. I played with a Spanish folk mass group for a while which was an interesting experience..

  Moving to Maryland in the early 21st century, my friend Dorothy Sherman and I started the group now now called 4Ever Erin.. We do a wide range of material from Irish to country, bluegrass, rock, some blues, a spice of variety and we can do kids' shows too..

  I've written over 60 songs, far too many for our band's website to present so I've made my own personal site to include a number more..

  The recordings at this site range from multi track studios to an occasional mono cassette recording.. many thanks to "me friends" (we got by with a little help) and their muscial and vocal abilities.. Bands that are included are Shadow Of A Dream, Spyce, Callian's Dream and 4Ever Erin and carnations there of.. this site is an attempt to expose a number of songs for public review..
