Cosmic Silk Project is my Solo Project. I use this as an outlet to create & give birth to projects that are of concern to me. I do everything myself from writing all the lyrics, writing the musical parts, singing all vocals, playing all the instruments, Recording Engineering & the production work.

I listen to every Artist that is on my friends list. I am a Peace activist as well as an actvist for the Saving the Environment. I support "Green Friendly" alternatives and all whom support anything "Eco" friendly.

I am interested in input from musicians/industry personal as to some concrete steps one can take to create alternate income sources. Online sales of  CD's, mp3's, merchandising, etc., that have worked for you. I have recently attended the Cutting Edge Music Seminar in New Orleans. The latest trend I picked up was the entrance of Publishers into the positions once occupied by the record co's, which won't disappear, but shift their opperations more into the publishers' domain. The benefit is less outlay, and additional money flow sources. Ideas?
