Bio / History

Singer/Songwriter for many years I commercial fished in Alaska and other places for 27 years. I was inspired to write music from the sea and what is happening in the world today. My passions are to feed the hungry, universal health care and making honest and truthful music, from the heart and soul. It is my intent to find other musicians who give a shit about the world and its people who are less fortunate than we are and do something about it. Whatever we can. I realised a long time ago that I alone could not save the world and I assure you all I have tried many times but we we all can do is help 1 person at a time. Give that hungry man on the street a sandwitch, help your neighbor carry in a bag of groceries or donate a small portion of your music sales to some charity. For 10 years I have donated 100% of my CD sales to different charities and realise for now I must be my own best charity as I am pretty dam poor. This will never stop the intent I have in my heart to help man and womankind. Who knows, perhaps somone someday will appreciate my music and spend 75 cents to buy a song. There is allways hope. Peace to all who visit my humble little site and I hope you enjoy my music ClintonBear

I guess having a blog is about other people putting in their two cents. It would be nice to know what your thinking out there, personally, I think the world is in a weird transition mode. Lets just hope 2012 will bring an awaking, at least to me. My writing is in the tank.

Thanks to Hose for his inspirational words. I cut off my left &^&^^%$ to plat a guitar half as good as him. lets not ever get caught up in the bullshit that someone is better than us. We all have the spirit within us. Its just sometimes hard to find it, as in my case.

Three years now with basically no writing and it weighs heavy on my heart. I wonder why I feel like it has been taken away from me??

One day Ill wake up, put the blank piece of paper and pen on the old wooden chair and once again, the words will flow.

 Until then, I am waiting...Peace to all...ClintonBear

Well, here I am again...Working on my new recording studio in Sierra Vista Arizona. Out of my poverty state I have had to improvise. I went to a carpet store and ask them if I could have the old carper underlament and they were glad to get rid of it.

Every few days I return to their dumpster stash and load up the car with free rolls of insullation. I literally have enough to place the standard 12 inches in the ciiling and stuff all the walls. I went to home depot and this stuff sells for 69 cents per sq foot, even more than some brand new carpet.

It has amazing sound absorbson as it has some rubber, plastic and sometimes cork all smashed up it this stuff. I hope thuis little tip will help someone else get free studio insullation  ClintonBear

Well...Here I go with my first Blog......

I believe if your a songwriter, as I am, im sure you understand that music that comes from the heart and soul is the truest form of our Art.

I have played with some amazing and famous musicians who sat down with me , a no body and cut the mustard. When it comes right down to it, we are just people playing a guitar, some do it better but all in all we are in the same bag.

All I do know is that when Im not making music or writing Im a dead man..And I'm nor ready to fall over quiet yet!

Hey, when you jam with Asleep At The Wheel, ask them if they remember recording at Goodnight Studios in Dallas. My brother was recording there at the same time and used to watch them record. Tell them Skippy's little brother says Hey.

Nice warm, sincere tones. The word healing comes to mind. I understand the frustration with writer's block. Like most things in life, my inspiration comes in spurts. What I am trying to say is,I believe the day will soon arrive, when we ARE a living song, 24-7, and it would behoove us greatly to have our pens and our instruments ready, poised, for when that day arrives. Meanwhile, I just practice a lot, hehe. Peace, George Earl

Everyone, we're doing better...The universe is smiling on us once again. We have salvaged multipul building supplies  and our new recording studio is 50% done.

The vocal booth is all done with the exception of hanging the bass traps and a little paint touch up.   It won't be lone until the music will flow again like water from the well.

We are so greatful that life has smiled on us once again   kentuck

It takes a while to get around to listening to more artists on jamwave. When I got around to you, it was a stop down, because depth and intensity deserve attention. I identify with you on the dry spell of writing, but the 2010 songs sound great. Besides, you've got to be used to spells of inactivity.....you know, hibernation! Good stuff....... C2

I know I know...That's four... but I was never any good at math anyway. ;-) All my respect Clinton. Hose.
