Bio / History | Dee Rock has Texas roots that run deep with both sides of the family coming from Denton and Mckinney Teaxs.The first electric guitar that Dee ever owned was a FENDER TELECASTER and his momma told him to treat it like your best friend and he's never stop pickin' ever since. Listening to all types of music growing up but especially SOUTHERN ROCK ~ COUNTRY & RHYTHM & BLUES has steered him on the path which he is on today. His motto is Good Folks ~ Good Music ~ Good Food and Horses and Harleys are the makings of one hell of a good party! Whether it's a honky tonk ~ the world famous WHISKEY-A-GO-GO or THE HOUSE OF BLUES, onstage is where he is totally comfortable. Dee Rock's shows are like being at a backyard bbq ...with lotsa beer and whiskey to go around and all them sexy cowgirls gettin' down!! Dee has worn many different hats in the music industry.From producing and writing for record companys including VIRGIN ~ EMI ~ CAPITOL and HOLLYWOOD RECORDS as well as writing songs for the WARNER BROS. film "DIVAS".Dee's southern style guitar boogie can be heard on the hit TLC show "AMERICAN CHOPPER" as well as on the DISCOVERY channel biker show "SOUTHERN STEEL" on which he also sang the shows theme song.Dee is living in Nashville Tennessee and will begin work on his upcoming cd and is looking forward to working with all the talented and amazing musicians in MUSIC CITY NASHVILLE!!
