Bio / History

Jeff Washer an architect of rock songs built with flowing arrangements, smooth melodies, great performances, crafty production and spectacular sounds. His philosophy is not about how long a song takes to finish or how much it cost's to produce, but how the song is remembered and enjoyed by it's listeners.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeff Washer grew up in the town of Franklin MA where he bought his first guitar. Jeff started playing his guitar by ear to bands like Led Zepplin, black Sabeth, and Neil Young.Influenced by these great bands, Jeff started to write original rock songs of his own.His first original song was a short musical which was recorded in 1985 called "Moving Up In Life". In 1990 the rock musician moved to New Bedford to start a new life.Jeff learned to play multiple instuments and over time put together a very basic studio. His studio included a keyboard, drum machine, electric guitar, amp and digital recorder. These were basic tools for allowing the songwriter to create preliminary songs, for which later would be recorded in a higher end studio. It was the year 2002 when Jeff Washer found a creative collaborator to work with by the name of Jeff Vangel. A local vocalist and songwriter from Sommerville MA.Both songwriters together spent the next couple of years writing songs. Jeff decided to search for musicians, research recording studio's, organize, finance and schedual recording sessions. His goal, to record and produce his original songs and in 2005 released a 10 song album called The "Gift To Believe" from a project called "Agatha's Memory". Although the album didn't break record charts, it was a starting point and very foundation for the building blocks of his future songwriting and production projects. In 2005 Jeff met up with Jeff Fowlie, a local vocalist to work with on a heavy rock song project called "Ode". Kevin LaJoie, a freind and fellow guitar player joined Jeff for his first time songwriting, and together as a team wrote a song called American Soldier which later was placed on an album called "American Heroes " "Songs For The Soldiers" released by "3 Point Records". Jeff realized that focasing one song at a time produced better results. With this new philosiphy Jeff started drafting the blueprints for his next big project......one song! A piano ballad written by Jeff Washer and Jeff Vangel in the makings since 2004 called Like Holding Nothing.Countless hours were spent writing, planning, aranging, organizing and developing the song. Many hours were spent searching for the right team of musicians to practice, perform and record the song. Using the old "You get what you pay for" philosophy Jeff found the perfect studio to record in.Studio owner and engineer Peter Rubbo of R-Productions was chosen to work on the project as the drummer, recording engineer, and co-producer. Peter was the third person to be brought into the team and a valuable asset to the project. It was only through hard work, perserverance, failure, faith, determination and critique of heart that Jeff's one song dream was realized......In his newly released heavy weight song titled"Like Holding Nothing".--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Like Holding Nothing" will take you for an endless ride with Ken Zimmermans timeless piano performance and the passionate hamonys of Nancy Badens soultry voice.Experiance the thunderous explosions of Peter Rubbo's drum performance powered by the lightning performance bad boy Dave Lussiers low end bass. Listen if you dare to the soaring lead guitar of Tom Orth slicing through chunky rythem sounds of Jeff Washer's guitar in the heavy weight song titled " Like Holding Nothing" Copyright 2007 Jeff Washer
