Types of Information JamWave
Gathers
At JamWave we gather two types of information about our users:
1) Voluntary information that you provide. This type of
information is used to create your profile, build your blog page, etc...
2) Aggregated tracking information derived from the pages you vist
on our site. This also includes non-personally-identifiable information
including IP address, browser type, operating system. This information is
gathered so that we can better understand the demographics of our users and so
that we can monitor and improve the Site. This information is never
shared with any third parties under any circumstances.
Cookies
Cookies are used to store certain information on your computer. This
way, when you return to JamWave we don't have to ask you for that
information again. P ersonal
information that you volunteer on JamWave is never stored in cookies.
Use of Information
JamWave uses your personal information primarily to enhance the
user experience of the JamWave Site. JamWave uses your email
address only to confirm your account and contact you in case of any problems
with your account. Upon your request, JamWave may forward additional
information to your email address including, but not limited to, messages and
notifications from visitors to your JamWave Site. If you join any fan
clubs, JamWave will also forward you emails from that artist. Also, upon
your request, other users of the JamWave Site may email you through the Site,
but your email address will remain private. To continue to provide
JamWave's products and services free-of-charge, JamWave may display
advertisements or other promotional information. Any additional personal
information that you volunteer will help JamWave customize the advertisements
it displays to match your interests. JamWave does not share any
personally identifiable information with advertisers. JamWave may share general
demographic information with advertisers and business partners (such as
aggregated statistics about members' interests and occupations).
Please be aware that any information you voluntarily post
to Journals, WebLogs, Message Boards, Classifieds or any other Public Forums,
is in fact Public and can be accessed by the Public and can in turn be used by
those people to send you unsolicited communications.
How I do to protect my JamWave account?
Keep your JamWave username and password secret! Anyone who knows your
username and password can log onto your JamWave account. To minimize the
risk of other people accessing your private JamWave account log out of JamWave
before you leave any computer that you use, even a personal one.
JamWave puts forth its best efforts to protect your private
information. We use secure data networks protected by industry
standard firewall and password protection systems. However, the Internet
is not the most secure place, JamWave cannot ensure or warrant the
security of any information you transmit to or from our online products or
services, and you do so at your own risk. For more information on this subject,
please see our Terms of Service. If you don't want anybody to know do not
publish it.
Children's Privacy
JamWave is for use by people who are at least 16 years old. Our
registration process clearly states that you must be at least 16 years old to
participate in the JamWave community (including activities such as
creating a JamWave site, leaving comments on other JamWave sites, and emailing
JamWave members through the JamWave.com website).

If you are the Parent or Legal Guardian of a child under 16 who has become
a JamWave member and you would like his or her account deleted, please email us
at: underage@JamWave.com.
Your Consent
