Singer songwriter and composer Kevin Stratton has taken the www.jamwave.com charts by storm releasing his first new material on the site since 2006. Nearly instantaneously after premiering snippets of his songs from his upcoming project Stratton rocketed to number one in five musical genres including classical, pop, pop-rock, jazz, and broke the top ten on the easy listening charts.
"What an unexpected pleasure it is to find this wonderful community at Jamwave accepting my new songs from the living room in the raw form that they are," Stratton said.
Stratton was first introduced to the Jamwave community in 2006, and scored No. 1 hits "What happened to My MTV" that remained in the top ten for nearly six months, and still remains a jawwave favorite today. Stratton's 2006 project Stealing Beauty also gained plenty of attention with vocalist Dusti, that scored number one hits with a live cover Sarah McLachlan's "Angel" and their original song "Fly Away."
Jamwave.com is a website that gives the seasoned musicians a platform to showcase their talents to their peers and consumers in multiple genres.
Since Stratton's relocation to the west coast, he has written nearly 250 songs working on his upcoming highly anticipated studio release set to hit your IPods in 2009.
"It is quite an honor to receive such recognition with seasoned and respected musicians," Stratton said.
